In order to plan the study for the global, here you have some ideas. Remember that the questions won´t be literally the same.

Unit 8. Health.

  1. Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology and Epidemiology. Define the object of each speciality.
  2. To know the basics of some frequent diseases of each speciality (basically questions that appear in the test we made online)
  3. Parts of a medical report, and how to do one from a given case of a disease. Enlace a web del proyecto del Hospital Humanitas
  4. Enlace a presentaciones 3A
  5. Formulario 3A
  6. Enlace a presentaciones 3B
  7. Formulario 3B

Unit 9. Ecosystems (link to the presentation)

  1. What are the components of an ecosystem?
  2. What do the interactions of an ecosystem consist of?
  3. List anatomical adaptations and behavioural adaptations from pictures of animals and plants.
  4. Define intraspecific relationship and interspecific relationship. Identify the type of relation from pictures of animals.
  5. What is a trophic level? What is a trophic chain or a trophic web? Be able to define everything and identify the levels from a chain or web; or to create a web from given living beings.
  6. Aquatic ecosystems. Marine ecosystem parts. Benthos, Nekton, Plankton. Fresh water: Lentic and Lotic. Examples and importance.
  7. Name the main biomes of the Earth and recognize main characteristics and living beings.

Unit 11. Dynamics of Earth (link to the presentation)

  1. Types of rocks (igneous and its types, sedimentary and its types and metamorphic). Describe the formation of each type and give examples.
  2. Rock cycle.
  3. Geosphere structure in layers (crust and types, mantle, outer core, inner core)
  4. Tectonic plates. Types of boundaries: convergent, divergent, conservative. Knowing where they are located in the Globe with examples of the types of boundaries. (for instance, the Atlantic ridge is divergent boundary because the plates are moving apart and new crust is formed……, the Himalayas is a convergent boundary because…..)
  5. Define Earthquake and seismic risk and locate where in the world there is more risk of earthquakes.
  6. Parts of a volcano and vocabulary related to volcanoes.
  7. What to do to reduce volcanic and earthquakes risk.
  8. Landscape formed due to the tectonic plates´ movement.
