During the month of April, we enjoyed the story “A Taste of the Moon.” The children learned through play, art, and teamwork.
Durante el mes de abril, disfrutamos del cuento “A qué sabe la luna.” Los niños aprendieron jugando, creando y trabajando en equipo.
Spring Drawings / Dibujos de primavera
The children coloured different spring pictures using bright and happy colours. They enjoyed choosing colours and creating their own drawings.
Los niños colorearon diferentes dibujos de primavera usando colores alegres. Disfrutaron mucho eligiendo colores y creando sus propios dibujos.
Zebra Craft / Manualidad de la cebra
The children made a zebra by sticking small pieces of black paper to create the stripes. They enjoyed seeing their zebra little by little.
Los niños hicieron una cebra pegando pequeños trozos de papel negro para hacer las rayas. Disfrutaron viendo cómo su cebra iba creciendo poco a poco.
Our Puffy Moon / Nuestra Luna Esponjosa
We made a puffy moon using different materials. Then we placed it on the ceiling, creating a sky in our classroom.
Hicimos una luna esponjosa con diferentes materiales y después la colocamos en el techo, creando un cielo en nuestra clase.

Building the Tower to Reach the Moon / Construyendo la Torre para Llegar a la Luna
The children built a tower with blocks and added the animals from the story: turtle, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, fox, monkey, and mouse. They worked together to reach the moon and took a picture with their tower.
Los niños construyeron una torre con bloques y añadieron los animales del cuento: tortuga, elefante, jirafa, cebra, león, zorro, mono y ratón. Trabajaron juntos para llegar a la luna y se hicieron una foto con su torre.
Picture time with My Favourite Animal / Hora de Fotos con Mi Animal Favorito
Each child chose their favourite animal from the story and took a picture with it.
Cada niño eligió su animal favorito del cuento y se hizo una foto con él.

Thank you for your support at home. The children have really enjoyed this project and have shown great effort, creativity, and teamwork. We encourage you to talk with them about the story and the animals, as this helps reinforce their learning in a meaningful way. We are very proud of all they have achieved this April.
Gracias por vuestro apoyo en casa. Los niños han disfrutado mucho este proyecto y han mostrado gran esfuerzo, creatividad y trabajo en equipo.
